Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala signs with Plug Sports to handle her off-field interests

Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has signed a management deal with Plug Sports to handle her off-field interests.
Oshoala and Plug Sports reached an agreement and put pen to paper on the deal which was finally announced on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
“Asisat fits our model at Plug Sports, she is on her way to being one of the greatest athletes out of Africa, I see her conquering the world very soon ,” Lanre Vigo , head of sports at Plug Sports told Pulse .
“ She’s done a lot of amazing things off the pitch through her Foundation. We look forward to working with her and helping her achieve her dreams .”
The Super Falcons captain joins Nigerian footballer Henry Onyekuru who is also managed by Plug Sports.
Oshoala is arguably the most popular Nigerian female footballer with a host of titles and individual awards.
She is a four-time African Women’s Player of the Year award winner and won the inaugural BBC Women’s Footballer of the Year in 2015.

The 25-year-old has had a successful club career with eight titles.
She has four league titles, the first in Nigeria with Rivers Angels who won the Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) in 2014, two with Chinese side Dalian Quanjian (2017 and 2018) and one with Barcelona (2020).
