Chelsea ‘willing to listen to offers for Jorginho’ – and could use funds raised in move for West Ham star Declan rice

Aug. 06, 2020

CHELSEA are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Jorginho to fund their move for Declan Rice.
The 28-year-old is one of ten first-team stars that Frank Lampard could offload this summer.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea will use Jorginho's fee to boost their bid for Rice.
Jorginho made the move to Stamford Bridge in 2018 when Maurizio Sarri was in charge.
The Italian star made 31 league appearances for Lampard's side during the 2019/20 campaign.
But the Blues boss is prepared to get rid of him to bring in his top target.
Jorginho has tipped to reunite with Sarri at Juventus this summer.
Joao Santos said: " Sarri has never called Jorginho personally to talk about Juventus.
"I know there's talk in the papers, but we have never had direct contact with Sarri or even director of sport Fabio Paratici.
"When the directors Paratici and Marina Granovskaia find an agreement, if they find an agreement, then and only the can I talk about the situation.
"Everyone knows there is a very strong rapport between Sarri and Jorginho after five years working together, I'd be a hypocrite to deny that, but I also want to remind you that Jorginho has three years left on his Chelsea contract."
Chelsea have got their sights set on signing £70million-rated midfielder Rice from West Ham.
The Hammers are keen to keep hold of him and David Moyes has insisted only a van full of cash will be enough to tempt them.
