Dele Alli urged to leave Tottenham and ‘player killer’ Mourinho in Gareth Bale swap deal as talkSPORT told of falling out with Jose

Sept. 16, 2020

Dele Alli has been urged to leave Tottenham as talkSPORT was told of a rift between the midfielder and manager Jose Mourinho.
The 24-year-old was hauled off at half-time of Spurs’ defeat by Everton in their first Premier League game of the new season.
Alli has been linked with a move away from the north London club with some reports suggesting he may be used in a swap deal for Gareth Bale.
The Wales ace is set to return to White Hart Lane in a stunning deal seven years after leaving for Spain, and Real Madrid allegedly want Alli was part of the transfer.
And making a move to the Bernabeu should be a ‘no-brainer’ for Alli while Mourinho is in charge of Spurs.
This is according to former Aston Villa captain Gabby Agbonlahor, who told talkSPORT that Alli should leave Tottenham if the opportunity arises.
Co-hosting Wednesday’s talkSPORT Breakfast, Agbonlahor said: “We’ve seen it how many times with Jose Mourinho? He can kill players.
“He’s done it at every club he’s been at. At Manchester United he tried to do it with Paul Pogba and [Luke] Shaw.
“I feel like Dele Alli might be his new target.
“Look what he’s done to Danny Rose. The entire back four was a disgrace and he’s still Spurs’ best left-back.
“I feel with Dele Alli, something has happened between them.
“From what I heard, he wasn’t even meant to start the Everton game; I think Steven Bergwijn had a migraine in the warm-up or before the game and that’s why Dele Alli started.
“To drag him at half-time, for me, was a bit of an insult, because I felt he could have dragged Harry Kane and other players before Dele Alli.
“There’s something else going on there. I feel like for Dele Alli to get out in a swap deal to Real Madrid is a no-brainer. He’d do better at Real Madrid than at Spurs.”
Agbonlahor had earlier made a stunning claim about Mourinho and Alli’s relationship, saying : “I’m hearing from a good source that Dele Alli and Mourinho have fallen out.”
