ATOAK, JKMBA explore Dudhpathri for MTB

Adventure Tour Operators Association of Kashmir (ATOAK) with technical backup from J&K Mountain Biking Association (JKMBA) and logistical support from Department of Tourism Kashmir explored Dudhpathri and its peripheries for mountain terrain biking.
According to a statement, the event in which 40 professional mountain bikers took part was flagged off at TRC Srinagar by Secretary Tourism Sarmad Hafeez in presence of Director Tourism Kashmir Nisar Ahmad Wani and his team of officers.
The statement said the 45 km stretch from Srinagar to main Dudhpathri bowl took about 2:15 hours and after exploring the inner terrains of Dudhpathri, cyclists also explored a new track of Tchochal Pathri to Khan Saheb. The bicyclists were thrilled by the terrain and the beauty around after cycle about 110 Kms up and down.
On the occasion Secretary Tourism assured that tourism department is committed to exploit potential of adventure tourism.
President ATOAK Rauf Tramboo briefed about growing adventure tourism all over the world and stressed upon the need to promote adventure and recreational tourism in Kashmir and parts of Jammu division.
