It enormously influenced civic views and opinions amid black Americans.
In 1942, 7th of February the remarkable day transformed America. The headline on the Courier was "The Courier Double V' for a victory campaign gets country - wide support". The backing displayed that black Americans and overall black America was weary of the oppression and was prepared for change. The campaign articulated miseries of black Americans.
The blacks were secluded against their skin color. For instance, black people in the army were recruited to fill and perform menial jobs including stewards and cooks. The great campaign agitated for the equal rights and freedoms and a possible integration. The Double V campaign was adopted to defeat their enemies at home and on the battle grounds abroad. The campaign launched a double edged sword fight for the two settings. It affirmed the presence of the black people as true who are loyal and love their country.
