The latest report from Spain indicates that Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero on a free transfer this summer.
The Argentine’s current contract expires in June, which means that the 32-year-old can talk to European clubs about a move away from the Etihad Stadium.
The Sun reports that the Catalan club have been alerted that Aguero is yet to negotiate a new deal with City and are hopeful of beating Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid to sign the striker.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the City man who are now managed by compatriot Mauricio Pochettino.

Aguero, who has spent nine years with City, has won four Premier League titles, five EFL Cups and one FA Cup during a trophy-filled spell in Manchester.
The forward, however, has suffered with a knee injury for the majority of the 2020-21 campaign and has only featured nine times in all competitions so far, scoring just twice.
TRANSFER WINDOW! Kylian Mbappe Will Join Real Madrid For £200M After Refusing To Sign A New Contract At Paris Saint Germain
As reported by Dailymail Real Madrid's long-term plan to lure Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain could well be coming to the crunch in the summer.
According to Spanish publication AS, Real's 'Operation Mbappe' plan is approaching its moment of truth - the France striker's contract at PSG expires in June 2022 so this summer, with only a year remaining, he will be at a crossroads.
The Spanish giants believe the fee to sign Mbappe could range anywhere from €150million (£135m) to €222m (£200m), with PSG possibly wanting to recoup what they paid to sign Neymar from Barcelona in 2017 - £198m.
Mbappe's annual wage is said to come in at €21m (£19m), which AS say Real will be able to pay.
