Now you're Pregnant it's always necessary for you to stay healthy, sound, and less stressed, but most importantly Eat the right set of foods or meal.
It's super to take fruits while pregnant but Today We're going to be looking at those special foods that'll be beneficial to you and your baby while you're expecting.
1. Eggs
In addition to more than 12 Vitamins and minerals, eggs contains lots of quality protein, which is essential for pregnancy. Baby's cells grow at an exponential rate, and every cell is made up of protein, plus a pregnant woman has her own protein needs, so she needs enough protein in her system.
2. Carrots
Carrots are tops when it comes to Vitamin A, which is so important for the development of your baby's eyes, bones and teeth. They also are good vegetable source, rich in Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and fibre to keep things moving.
3. Legumes
Legumes are very high in Folic acid, which is vital to the development of the baby's neural tube. The neural tube formed during the first month of pregnancy later develops into the spinal cord. They also contains Iron, which is needed in the production of red blood cells, therefore helping to reduce the effect of pregnancy symptoms like tiredness, irritability and depression.
4. Avocados
Loaded with folic acid (vital for forming your baby's brain and nervous system), it also has potassium, Vitamin B6 and C which not only helps your baby's tissue and brain development but helps fight sicknesses. Though keep in mind that it contains Fat, but healthy fat, take little a day.
5. Sweet Potatoes
Although Sweet Potatoes would be a nutritional addition to anyone's diet, it is particularly beneficial to Pregnant women. They contain Fibre, Folic acid and Vitamins, A and C, low calorie or cholesterol and are generally good source to all these nutrients, which increases your blood supply and helps your babies grow properly.
