Ben Stokes is an English international cricketer who is the captain of the England Test team and plays for the England team in ODIs and T20Is. He made his One Day International debut on 25 August 2011 against Ireland. A month later same year, he made his Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) debut against West Indies.

Stokes plays for Durham in the domestic league. Over the years, he has been one of the best players in the country. The Christchurch-born star who has played in New Zealand, Australia, England and India has become one of the most sought after players.

So far in his career, Stokes has won numerous accolades and honors, including Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World in 2019, 2020 and 2023, ICC ODI Team of the Decade in 2019, and won the ICC Award for Best Men’s Cricketer and BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2019.

Stokes’ team achievements include winning the County Championship in 2013, Royal London One-Day Cup in 2014, ICC Cricket World Cup in England & Wales 2019 , and ICC T20 World Cup in Australia 2022.

Benjamin Andrew Stokes is an English international cricketer who was born on June 4, 1991 in Christchurch, New Zealand. He is the only child of Deborah and Gerard (Ged) Stokes, a former rugby league footballer and ex-coach.
