Content creator and media personality Maureen Waititu a single mother of two, is navigating the dating scene and has gone ahead to share insights on the Blended Family podcast channel, emphasizing the significant differences between dating before and after having children.

Maureen and Frankie parted ways in 2019, but it seems they are cordial at the moment, for the sake of their two children. In a recent interview with Lynn Ngugi, Waititu said 2019 made her who she is and recalled how the happenings in her life made her slip into depression.

She highlighted the importance of co- parenting successfully with her baby daddy. Discussing blended families, Maureen expressed the value she places on introducing her new partner to her ex. Maureen also disclosed that she hardly introduces the men she is dating to her kids and never brings them home unless it' s a formal introduction.

She added that, ideally, she would like to maintain a cordial relationship with her ex- partner, informing him about significant developments and changes that might affect their children, fostering a harmonious coexistence in the blended family dynamic.

" If I feel that this person is going to become a permanent fixture, then… I remember earlier during my breakup with my baby daddy; there was something I told him. I said I will always respect you, and if I find somebody in my life who I feel is going to be here, I would want you to be the first person to know. So that there are no surprises, no matter how painful it might seem, we are going to sit down and work through it. "
