While the couple had endeavored to keep their private matters under wraps, Kyaremera felt compelled to address the public to shed light on the situation, particularly for the sake of her children.

"I have tried to keep my divorce private and out of the public sphere for the sake of my children," Kyaremera revealed in a statement.

Alongside her announcement, she presented the "Decree Nisi," a legal document confirming the termination of her marriage, which was issued in 2022.
