Her name is Yvonne Nelson, a famous Ghanaian actress, model, author, entrepreneur, director and film producer.
Yvonne Nelson was born on November 12, 1985 in Accra, Ghana, West Africa. She’ll be 39 years old this year. She is the youngest of three siblings. Her father, Mr. O. Nelson is from Ga in the Greater Accra Region and her mother, Mrs. Margaret Gaddy comes from Cape Coast, both in Ghana.
Yvonne Nelson started her education at St. Martin De Porres School in Accra and later went to Aggrey Memorial Senior High School and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate. Afterward, she proceeded to Zenith University College and Central University in Ghana and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. She also obtained her master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Adminstration (GIMPA) in 2020.
Yvonne Nelson started her career as a model in 2000. In 2007, she joined the Ghanaian movie industry and rose to fame after playing the lead character in her first movie “Princess Tyra”, starring alongside Van Vicker, Jackie Appiah. The movie won her The Best Upcoming Actress at the 4th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
