Popular Kikuyu gospel singer, Ruth Wamuyu is currently trending after news about her husband' s alleged infidelity leaked online. According to Murang' a newspaper, her husband impregnated a female congregant in their church.

Despite the growing concerns about Ruth Wamuyu' s troubled marriage she has remained silent about the issue. She is yet to confirm wether it' s true or not. Her husband has also not confirmed or denied the rumours.

Ruth Wamuyu has been in the gospel industry for the longest time now. She is also a preacher at House Of Judah ministry church which she runs it together with her husband, Theuri Maina.

Ruth and Theuri have been married for over twenty years now. The couple met while studying theology in the National Evangelical Graduate school. They all aspired to become preachers and that' s what drew them close.

In a past interview, Ruth revealed that when Theuri expressed his feelings towards her, she was very hesitant. According to Ruth, she wanted to study and being in a relationship would have been a destruction to her.

" We met when we were both studying Theology in college. We all wanted to be pastors and I think that' s what drew us close to each other. However when Theuri approached me, I was not ready. He convinced that he was ready to wait and we started our courtship. " Ruth Wamuyu said.
