Renowned Kikuyu gospel singer, Ruth Wamuyu has finally broken silence after her husband allegedly impregnated a female congregant in their church. Ruth explained that even a righteous man falls seven times but still rises.

She went on to defend her husband revealing that despite being a pastor, he was a human being who was prone to making mistakes. She emphasized that mistakes make people strong and come with a lot of lessons.

" A righteous man falls seven times but he rises again. My husband is no different and all human beings are prone to make mistakes at one point in their lives. What I love most about mistakes is that they come with hard lessons and make us stronger. " Ruth Wamuyu stated.

Ruth' s message was received with mixed reactions with a lot of people urging her to avoid defending a cheating husband. Others however, applauded Ruth for fighting for her marriage.

Ruth Wamuyu has been in the gospel industry for the longest time now. She is also a preacher at House Of Judah ministry church which she runs it together with her husband, Theuri Maina.

Ruth and Theuri have been married for over twenty years now. The couple met while studying theology in the National Evangelical Graduate school. They all aspired to become preachers and that' s what drew them close.
