A lot has happened in the Nigerian entertainment industry in just one week, as the Nollywood industry has recorded the death of two of its stars. Just a few days ago, the Nollywood industry recorded the death of one of its fine actresses, Jumoke Aderounmu, where by there were a lot of rumors surrounding her death and the reaction of her former boss, Funke Akindele.

However, Nigerians had barely finished mourning her death, when the news of another actor, Jnr Pope was announced. There were so manu stories circulating on the internet yesterday, as there were many news about whether or not the actor was still alive, till he was finally confirmed dead yesterday evening.

Junior Pope Odonwodo, popularlu known as Junior Pope, was reported to have drowned while attempting to cross a river in Asaba, during the making of a movie. The 39- year- old actor alongside three of his colleagues were reported to have drowned after their boat had capsized in a river, on their way back from a movie location. The actor died a few hours after posting a video of himself in a boat, frantically praying to arrive at his destination safely.

Shortly after the death of the actor, we have seen several of his colleagues post stuff on their social media pages, addressing his death, and one of those who posted something about his death was the actor, Jerry Amilo, and this post is one that has gotten many talking.
