Laryea Kingston reflects on unfulfilled Black Stars career |

Laryea Kingston has disclosed that, despite his dedication and determination to succeed for Ghana as a Black Stars player, he did not find fulfillment in many aspects of his playing career.
Kingston was widely known as one of the biggest threats in the wide areas for Ghana between 2002 and 2010, scoring six goals in 41 appearances in the period.
He then ventured into coaching after his retirement Laryea Kingston has disclosed that, despite his dedication and determination to win for Ghana as a Black Stars player, he did not find fulfillment in many aspects of his playing career.from football and led the Black Starlets to their pursuit of qualification to the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations and potentially the World Cup.
However, the team failed to clinch that feat after a disappointing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Burkina Faso in the WAFU B Championship on Saturday at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Kingston has now resigned from his position as head coach of the Black Starlets in a post match conference, but touched on his playing days, insisting a lack of satisfaction led to the pursuit of improving himself to contribute more to his nation through coaching.
“Ghanaians know the work and everything that I have given to this country as a player.
I gave my all, and I will continue doing that, everything I want to do for this country I give my all but at the end, I was not happy as a player.
