Abiodun Egunjobi, alias Godogodo, was a name that struck fear into the hearts of many in Lagos and the southwest of Nigeria. For over a decade, he terrorized the region with his gang, leaving a trail of death and destruction in their wake. Godogodo' s criminal career began after a seven- year prison stint, where he formed alliances with other dangerous criminals and honed his skills as a ruthless and cunning armed robber.

Godogodo' s reign of terror was marked by brutal attacks on banks, bureau de change operators, and police officers. His gang' s violent methods resulted in numerous deaths and injuries, earning him the nickname " one- eyed assassin. " The police and civilians alike feared Godogodo, who seemed to always be one step ahead of the law.

However, Godogodo' s luck finally ran out on August 1, 2013, when he was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command after an intensive investigation. The police discovered that Godogodo had six houses, over 52 fish ponds, and a reputation as a successful businessman, all of which were a front for his criminal activities.

During his interrogation, Godogodo revealed the details of his operations, including a coordinated attack on Lagos that left many innocent people dead. He also disclosed that he had made a lot of money from his robberies and had invested it in property. Godogodo' s arrest was a significant achievement for the police, and his subsequent conviction brought an end to his reign of terror.
