Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, has excited his fans with an update about his forthcoming album, “Morayo.”

In a video that has quickly gone viral, Wizkid, the “Essence” hitmaker, shared the news from his private jet, revealing that “Morayo” will be his sixth studio album. This new project will follow his previous albums: “Superstar,” “Ayo,” “Sounds from the Other Side,” “Made in Lagos,” and “More Love Less Ego.”

Wizkid also shared that “Morayo” is dedicated to his late mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, whom he referred to as the love of his life. His mother passed away on August 18, 2023, in London, and this album serves as a tribute to her memory. Fans eagerly await the release of “Morayo,” anticipating another masterpiece from the Grammy Award-winning artist.
