Veteran entertainer, Charly Boy, has reacted to a viral photo of former Rivers State governor and ex- Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, waiting at the Abuja Airport for a delayed commercial flight. Charly Boy shared the photo on social media, listing nine observations that highlight the transience of power.

In his post, Charly Boy noted that Amaechi, who was once a powerful figure, is now like an ordinary citizen, waiting for a flight like everyone else. He pointed out that Amaechi no longer has access to the perks of office, including security personnel, a private aircraft, and special treatment from airport staff.

Charly Boy' s post is a commentary on the fleeting nature of power and the humbling experience that comes with losing it. He urged his followers to remember that whatever position they occupy is temporary and can be taken away at any time.

" Once your reign is over, the hypocrites are gone, the sycophants are gone, the bootlickers are gone, the MOPOL security men are gone, DSS are withdrawn, soldiers are reassigned, FAAN staff no longer shake or shiver at your presence, you no longer have access to Rivers State aircraft, and you cannot afford to charter an aircraft from your personal income, " Charly Boy wrote.

He added, " Then Amaechi has to stay in the same departure lounge in Abuja with me (an Alagbado man), waiting for an aircraft that was delayed for 1 hour. Whatever position you occupy presently that makes you believe that you are superior to your colleagues, please remember that it is temporary. Power is transient. "
