Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was born 15 September 1944, is a Ugandan military officer, politician and revolutionary who is the 9th and current President of Uganda since 1986. He is considered autocratic. After Museveni lost the election of 1980, he started the Ugandan Bush War which caused over 100,000 deaths and led to the removal of Milton Obote.
Yoweri Museveni became the talk of town since he elected travelled to Nairobi for President William Ruto’s inauguration alongside his official car and mobile toilet.
Mr Museveni is normally escorted to most functions with the ‘toilet’ which is fully furnished and even has a seating area. The ‘toilet’ is shiny car grey complete with a red carpet with a three-stair door.
The vehicle was manufactured in Germany at a reported cost of Sh15 million, as per media reports in Uganda. It has a horsepower and highly torque for speedy overland trips that can be used to navigate tough terrains.
Inside, it spots off-white leather seats, a round table and a fully stocked kitchen with a larder unit to offer clear storage for bottles and an exposed-wood counter.
The living room is temperature regulated.
It also holds a 153-litre refrigerator to store drinks and other items for the Head of State and can be accessed through both sides.
Museveni can further opt to take a nap on board the vehicle which offers a range of sleeping surfaces ranging from transverse beds to twin beds and a more comfortable sleeping system.
