Controversial broadcast journalist Captain Smart expressed disappointment in John Dramani Mahama for his response to questions he threw at him during a press conference held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

Smart asked Mahama what he would do differently to improve the standard of living of the citizens if he was allowed to become president once again.

The reaction from Mahama did not sit well with Captain Smart who stated emphatically that he was not impressed.

Nonetheless, the Onua TV morning show host believes John Dramani Mahama is superior compared to other presidential candidates.

According to him, the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the opposition, describing their ticket as weak. He added that the recently announced vice presidential candidate for the NPP will not improve the fortunes of the party in the upcoming general elections.

Explaining the shortcomings of Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Smart pointed out that his performance as the Energy Minister is nothing to write home about, a clear indication that he cannot occupy a sensitive position as the Head of the Economic Management Team if he becomes president.

The broadcaster mentioned that he does not have a personal agenda against the Manhyia South Member of Parliament but he is looking for the best for the country.
