They can’t do it again, surely? Well, with Pep Guardiola at the helm, can anyone ever bet against Manchester City?
Off the back of a treble-winning 2022/23 season, the Cityzens rose again in 2023/24 to beat an excellent Arsenal side to the Premier League title, their fourth on the bounce.
This is a historic unit aiming to create more history in 2024/25 by securing a fifth championship in a row. There isn’t likely to be a major squad overhaul, although Guardiola should have a couple of fresh faces to hone and develop.

There are a few low numbers still available at City, with Savio a strong contender to take Joao Cancelo’s number 7 shirt. The Portugal international was on loan at Barcelona last season and does not have a future in Manchester.
