Nonso Diobi is a veteran Nollywood actor, producer, entrepreneur and television personality. He is very handsome, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. He knows how to interpret his role very well and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers in Nigeria. He was born on 17th July 1976 in Enugu, Nigeria. He is a native of Nawfia in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently 46 years old.

He has starred in over 200 films. While studying Theatre Art at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, he made his debut on-screen appearance in a 2001 film titled Border Line followed by an outstanding performance in the movie titled “Hatred”. He went on to give a sterling performance in the movie ‘Across the bridge’ which gave him his major breakthrough and after which he became a house hold name across Nigeria and Africa in general.

Nonso Diobi is the founder and chairman of Goldentape media, a leading Film/TV production company in Nigeria. He is a UN peace ambassador as well as teachers without Borders ambassador. He has starred in over 200 films and still counting. He has been in the Nigerian movie industry for more than two decades. He always plays the role of a lover boy and play boy in several Nollywood romantic movies.
