Mercy Johnson Ozioma Okojie popularly known as Mercy Johnson is a famous Nollywood actress, chef, model, producer, philanthropist and a television personality. She is known worldwide for her ability to cry in movies. She is very beautiful, gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. She knows how to interpret her roles very well and can fit in any character given to her by movie directors and producers in Nigeria.

She was born on 28th August 1984 in Lagos, Nigeria. She is currently 35 years old. She is the sixth child in a family of seven children. Her father’s name is Mr. Daniel Johnson while her mother’s name is Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson. Her father was a former Naval Officer while her mother was a civil servant. Mercy Johnson grew up in Port Harcourt, Calabar and Lagos respectively, all in Nigeria. She is currently married to Prince Odianosen Okojie and the marriage is currently blessed with three lovely kids namely Henry, Angel and Purity Okojie. She got married in 2011.

She is originally from Okene, a small town in Kogi State in the south southern part of Nigeria and had her first taste of education in Calabar where her biological father resides. She completed her primary school education in Calabar, and her secondary school education in Port Harcourt. While in Port Harcourt, she attended Streams State Secondary School and Nigerian Navy Secondary School Port Harcourt, where she obtained her West African Senior School Certificate. While still in school, she was actively involved in drama and performing arts.
