A distraught Nigerian woman has cried out for justice following the brutal murder of her son, Bolakale Atanda Yussuf, in the Mushin area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that Atanda was allegedly killed by a notorious group of thugs led by a figure known as Olori Esho.
The deceased's mother identified the suspects as; Atanda Yusuf, Wasiu Olori Esho, Alabi Egbere, Morufu Egbere, Jimoh Egbere, Ishola Marindoti, Tobi Wisdom, and others.
According to her, her son was brutally murdered on the 31st of July around 12am. She alleged that he was often perceived as arrogant, and a video of the attack was circulated online.
"Wasiu Olori Esho said my son used to act arrogantly, as if he was above everyone else. They butchered my son like a goat and did whatever they wanted to him."
She said Wasiu Olori Esho, along with others, killed her son and posted the incident on social media, claiming in Yoruba, "I have told you that I would be the one to kill you."
The mother of the deceased reported the case to the police, but no action was taken. She also alleged that Olori Esho often claimed that no one could arrest him because he has connections with people in power.
