Manisa FC, a club in the Turkish second division, has signed Ghanaian defender Philip Gameli Awuku.

The 24-year-old joined the team on a one-year contract with the possibility of extending for another year.

Awuku, who was a free agent after leaving Tuzlaspor this summer, was officially announced as a Manisa FC player on August 18th.

Gameli Awuku, a 24-year-old defender, began his professional soccer career in Ghana with Okyeman FC. He then moved to Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey's top league, the Süper Lig, for the 2020-2021 season.

Awuku played for two seasons at Yeni Malatyaspor before joining Tuzlaspor in the 2022-2023 season. He quickly became an important player for his new team.

Throughout his career, Awuku has participated in 83 official matches and contributed four goals.
