John Dumelo is a famous Ghanaian actor, producer, model, politician and a television personality. He is the last boy in a family of three children. He was born on 3rd February, 1984 in Accra, Ghana. He is currently 39 years old. He has distinguished himself from others as one of the most prolific actors in Ghana.

He is very handsome, gifted skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles. He knows how to interpret his roles very well and can fit very well in any character given to him by movie directors and producers. He is popularly known for featuring in romantic movies.

John Dumelo completed his primary school education at Christ the King International School in Accra, Ghana and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing her primary school education, John Dumelo had his secondary school education at Achimota Secondary School in Accra, Ghana and obtained his West Africa Senior School Certificate. After completing his secondary school education, John Dumelo studied at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

He started acting in the early 1990s and in 1991 he featured in movie titled “Baby Thief” while he was still attending Christ the King School and was paid 2 Ghana Cedis at the age 7 years. John Dumelo is married to Gifty Mawunya Nkornu. He held a grand wedding ceremony at Royal Senchi Resort in Akosombo. The couple’s first child was born on 16 October 2018. He is named John Dumelo Jnr. after his father.
