Ethiopia's Sembo Almayew has won a Gold medal in the Women's 3000m Steeplechase at the World Athletics U20 Championships. She broke the championship record with 9:12.71. Uganda Loice Chekwemoi came in second place with 9:18.84, while Kenya’s Diana Chepkemoi came in third place.
