Celebrated Ghanaian actor Akwasi Boadi, popularly known as Akrobeto, recently revealed the reason behind his reluctance to take photos with fans and strangers he encounters on the streets.

In an interview with Dan Kwaku Yeboah, Akrobeto explained that his decision stems from a series of troubling experiences where his photos were misused for criminal activities.

One particular incident left a lasting impact on the actor. He recounted how a man used a photo of himself with Akrobeto to deceive a 16- year- old girl. The man showed the girl the picture inside his car, using it to convince her with lies that eventually led to a sexual encounter.

Tragically, the girl became pregnant, and the man disappeared without a trace. The girl' s distraught mother later approached Akrobeto, showing him the photo and asking if he knew the man. Akrobeto was shocked as he had no recollection of ever meeting the individual.

This wasn' t an isolated case. Akrobeto mentioned other instances where his image had been exploited for nefarious purposes. These experiences have led him to adopt a strict policy of refusing to take pictures with fans or anyone else he meets, regardless of how it might be perceived by others.

Akrobeto' s decision highlights the darker side of celebrity life, where something as simple as a photograph can be twisted into a tool for deception. Despite the potential backlash or misunderstanding from fans, Akrobeto remains firm in his choice, prioritizing the safety and integrity of his image above all else.
