TRAGIC Story Of World's Fattest Man Who Weighed 400kg; See The SHOCKING Way He Died
Sep 8, 2024
Ricky Naputi, a 39- year- old man from Guam, tragically lost his life to morbid obesity in 2012. Weighing over 400 kilograms (900 pounds) at his heaviest, Ricky' s story is a heart- wrenching reminder of the devastating consequences of chronic food addiction and the importance of seeking help.
Ricky' s struggles with obesity began at a young age, and his condition worsened over time, leaving him confined to his bed and in need of an oxygen machine. Despite his efforts to lose weight, Ricky was unable to overcome his addiction, and his health continued to deteriorate.
In a TLC documentary, Ricky' s wife, Cheryl, shared the challenges of caring for her husband, describing it as " like taking care of an overgrown baby. " Cheryl was Ricky' s primary caregiver, responsible for cooking, cleaning, and assisting him with daily tasks. She also revealed that Ricky' s addiction was so strong that he would beg her for food, and she often found it difficult to resist his pleas.
Ricky' s situation was further complicated by his inability to undergo gastric surgery due to his extreme weight. Doctors informed him that he needed to lose 40 kilograms (88 pounds) before surgery could be considered. Unfortunately, Ricky was unable to achieve this goal, and his health continued to decline.
