1. Meta Verified For Small Businesses:

WhatsApp has announced Meta Verified blue checks to eligible small businesses in India via WhatsApp Business application. The small business will now be able to subscribe and create a sense of authenticity in their customers' minds along with features like impersonation protection, account support, and premium features which will enhance the online presence. WhatsApp Channels and business pages will also get the blue ticks.

2. Customised Messages On WhatsApp Business:

The small businesses will now be able to send customised messages to the customers. For instance businesses will be able to send appointment reminders, birthday greetings, holiday sales and much more. However, the businesses will have to pay a decent amount of money to get the features. Using this, the businesses will get the ability to send personalised messages with name and CTA buttons and even schedule them.
