Governor James Orengo expressed his joy after hosting his in-laws, the Luseno family, at his Masiro home.

In his heartfelt social media post, he shared warm wishes for his son Michael, stating, “To my good son Mike, I wish you all the very best in your union.”

He added a blessing for their journey together: “May the Almighty be your guiding stone and shower you with grace to live with each other in peace and harmony.

May you learn to bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths.”

Michael married Samantha Luseno in a colorful wedding ceremony held in Vihiga County on September 9.

The couple opted for a simple wedding, diverging from the typical themed weddings seen today.

Orengo and his wife, Betty, are proud parents of seven children—three boys and four girls: Michael, Bob, Steven, Zeni, Josephine, Lavender, and Lynette Orengo.

Betty Kaari is not only a devoted mother but also a professional lawyer and human rights defender, known for her extensive work both nationally and internationally, as well as her leadership in several non-governmental organizations.
