Ghanaian Actress Moesha Bodoung Reveals Half Of Her Body is Still Paralysed 9 Months After Stroke
Sep 24, 2024
According to a report by Adom Online, nine months after the horrible news of her stroke first broke, Ghanaian socialite and actress Moesha Bodoung has opened up about her health and the challenges she’s faced since the life-altering event.
In a phone interview with nkonkonsa.com, Moesha recounted the difficult months she spent bedridden, unable to perform basic tasks like walking or even speaking.
“I went off completely and I was in bed for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk, and couldn’t do anything,” she shared during the interview.
Yet, despite the challenges, she remains optimistic. “I thank God I am better now. As you can see, I talk now even though I am still struggling to speak properly,” she added.
While she has made strides since the initial stroke, the actress revealed that half of her body is still paralyzed.
“Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning now, so I can’t type on the phone; I can only talk on the phone,” she explained.
However, Moesha remains upbeat, leaning heavily on her faith. “I know God will heal me, and I will become a global superstar,” she stated.
Earlier this year, following the initial reports of Moesha’s stroke, her brother, Ebito Boduong, took action by setting up a GoFundMe account to raise $10,000 to cover her mounting medical expenses.
