The son of NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, Sharaf Mahama, has finally spoken ahead of the 2024 elections during a campaign launch in the Oforikrom Constituency in Ashanti Region where he delivered a bold message directed at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his supporters.

Sharaf speaking during the campaign walk in the Oforikrom constituency, a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) intensified efforts to win the upcoming 2024 elections with a large crowd of enthusiastic NDC supporters, called on them to send a message to Dr. Bawumia. " Go and tell Bawumia that my father, John Dramani Mahama, is number 8 on the ballot paper, and that means the end of the NPP' s 8 years of lies, " he declared, eliciting cheers and applause from the audience.

Sharaf Mahama confidently asserted that the NDC was well- positioned to defeat the NPP in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that his father, Mahama, would ultimately secure victory and become the next President of Ghana in 2025. " Bawumia wants to break the 8, but I would like to warn him that the 8 is with my father Mahama. He will surely win the 2024 elections and take over the presidency in 2025, " Sharaf said with conviction.

His remarks were met with loud chants of " JM to victory! " from the crowd, with supporters expressing their optimism for a change in leadership. Sharaf' s words resonated deeply with the supporters, many of whom believe that Mahama is the right leader to address the challenges faced by Ghanaians and steer the country towards economic recovery and stability.
