The capital-based club over the weekend locked horns with Nsoatreman FC in Round four having gone three matches without victory.

Following an impressive display from the team, Accra Lions cruised to a 3-1 win at full time for the first three points of the season.

Two of the standout performers, Blessing Dankwah and Ali Mohammed have been named in the Ghana Premier League Week 4 Team of the Week.

Other players who made the cut include Hearts of Oak midfielder Theophilus  Collision and Asante Kotoko’s Kyei Dwamena.

Following a first win for Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League, the team will be eager to grab a second next weekend.

During Week 5, Accra Lions will make the trip to Obuasi to take on Asante Kotoko at Len Clay Sports Stadium.
