The Presidency has stated that Nana Bediatuo Asante, the Secretary to President Akufo-Addo, is recovering well from an ailment at a US hospital. The Jubilee House has declared that Nana Asante Bediatuo, the Executive Secretary to the President, is presently undergoing medical care in the United States following a health incident that occurred while she was on official business.
The recently appointed Ambassador-at-Large is receiving medical attention from doctors, according to a statement released by Jubilee House on Wednesday, October 2. He is anticipated to recover fully shortly. He is responding favorably to treatment and is in a stable state right now. The medical staff reports that Nana Bediatuo Asante is recuperating as planned, and we continue to have hope for a prompt restoration to full health.
"We kindly request that you keep him and his family in your prayers at this trying time. When needed, more updates will be sent. The President's Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin, made this announcement in a statement dated October 2, 2024.
The purpose of the message was to reassure the President and Secretary about his health, as there had been rumors in the media that he was ill and had been admitted to a US hospital. For the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, President Akufo-Addo was accompanied by Nana Bediatuo Asante, who is also an Ambassador-at-Large.
