Bibiani Goldstars defender Kelvin Oppong has pledged to elevate his contributions after playing a pivotal role in securing an important away point against FC Samartex in the Ghana Premier League.

The thrilling match, held at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Wednesday afternoon, ended in a 1-1 draw.

Oppong, who recently joined Goldstars from Bofoakwa Tano, delivered an impressive performance that proved crucial in helping the club share the spoils with the Timber Giants.

Samartex initially took the lead in the 21st minute through Emmanuel Mamah, heading into halftime with a narrow advantage.

Despite the hosts pressing for a victory on their home turf, it was Oppong who emerged as the hero, netting the equalizer in the 80th minute to salvage a point for Goldstars.
