Aduana Stars coach Yaw Acheampong has admitted his outfit is under pressure to performance following a disappointing start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The two-time Premier League champions are struggling to find their rhythm this season, losing two and drawing two after four games.
With just two points, the fire boys find themselves in the 17th-position and must uplift their performance if they are to make impact this season.
Aduana Stars have been on a poor run of form after succumbing to a back-to-back defeats in the Premier League. They suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Nations FC followed by a 3-2 away defeat to debutants, Young Apostles.
“I think we have to talk to the players and psych them. I situations like this, there is always a pressure not only on the coach but the entire team. There is a little pressure but it is our responsibility motivate them. I believe they will us what we want going forward” he said.
Aduana Stars faces a daunting task on Friday afternoon against Hearts of Oak, who are also determined to secure maximum points at the University of Ghana Stadium.
