"The Mansion Is Intact" - Jackie Appiah & Ghana National Fire Service Refute Claims of Mansion Fire
Oct 13, 2024
Recent reports of a fire engulfing Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah's multimillion-dollar mansion in Trassaco, Accra, have been officially refuted by both the actress and the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
These conflicting reports have stirred considerable public concern, prompting both parties to clarify the situation.
Initial claims suggested that a catastrophic fire had broken out at the luxurious residence late on Friday night, spreading rapidly and causing extensive damage. Social media was abuzz with videos and images purportedly showing the mansion in flames, leading to widespread speculation and alarm within the entertainment industry and among Jackie Appiah's fans.

In response to these claims, Assistant Divisional Officer Grade One (ADO1) Alex King Nartey of the GNFS addressed the media, clarifying that it was actually a nearby property belonging to Jackie Appiah's manager, Madam Samira, that experienced a fire incident.
According to Nartey, the fire was confined to the cinema room of Madam Samira's house and was promptly extinguished by the fire service.
“After confirming from our responding crew, the affected house belongs to Madam Samira, Jackie Appiah’s manager, and it was the cinema room of the house that got affected by the fire,” he noted.
