Nollywood industry continues to mourn the death of Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, the veteran Nigerian actor popularly known as Charles Olumo and Baba Agbako, has been laid to rest barely 24 hours of his demise in Ogun state.
The celebrated movie star died on October 31 at the age of 101, and was wrapped in a white clothe and buried, according to Islamic tradition.
The burial ceremony, attended by family members and Nollywood actors, took place at Sanyaolu' s hometown in Abeokuta, leaving many in tears.
Some of the notable personalities spotted on the burial ground include Idowu Philips, the Yoruba actor fondly called Iya Rainbow and Foluke Daramola who cried uncontrollably.
In a post made on Instagram, Bolaji Amusan aka Mr Latin, president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), also confirmed the actor has been buried. Mr Latin wrote:
" Finally laid to rest. May your soul rest in peace Pa Charles Olumo Sanyanolu Agbako" .

Recall that the Yoruba movie industry was recently thrown into deep sadness as they lost one of their own, veteran actor, Charles Olumo, popularly known as Agbako, who was the " world' s oldest actor" at 101 years.
Agbako reportedly died on Thursday, September 31, as Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, also president of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced his death. Sharing a photo of the late Nollywood legend on his social media timeline, Mr Latin revealed that details of Agbako' s burial arrangements would be shared to the public later.
