Equatorial Guinea Man Who Slept With President's Sister Finally Arrested; Watch The Leaked Video Inside
Nov 8, 2024
Baltasar Engonga, Director General of Equatorial Guinea' s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), has been arrested amidst a scandal involving over 400 explicit videos reportedly featuring the wives of prominent public figures. The shocking revelations surfaced during an unrelated investigation into fraud allegations against Engonga, age 54, when authorities discovered a collection of explicit CDs in his home and office.
The recordings, allegedly consensual, involve spouses of high- ranking officials, including the Director General of Police, close relatives of senior government figures, and even the sister of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, as well as several government ministers' spouses. The videos reportedly took place in multiple settings, including Engonga' s office, where the national flag was visible in some footage, adding a striking symbol to the already scandalous material.
The tapes have since been leaked online, igniting widespread public outrage and casting a harsh spotlight on the ethical standards within the country' s administration. Ahora EG, a local media outlet, described the situation as unprecedented, calling it a " flagrant violation" of professional integrity by a top official.
Nicknamed " Bello, " Engonga has become the focus of national controversy, with implications reaching the highest echelons of government. Equatorial Guinea' s Attorney General Nzang Nguema clarified that while consensual relationships are not criminal under current laws, the scale and visibility of this scandal raise significant public health and ethical concerns. He further emphasized the importance of a supportive environment for reporting any cases of non- consensual encounters or abuse, should they exist.
