The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has announced the next stage of its 2024 recruitment process, which will include body selection, document assessment, and medical screening. Applicants who participated in the recruitment drive that began on August 7, 2024, are now expected to attend these evaluations.
Recruitment Process Details
In a recent update, Assistant Commissioner of Immigration and Head of Public Affairs, Michael Amoako-Atta, confirmed that all applicants who advanced past the initial stage must now complete this next phase. Below is a summary of each part of the process:
Body Selection: This involves a physical inspection, during which officials will verify applicants' academic certificates and birth certificates to confirm authenticity.
Document Assessment: GIS will thoroughly check applicants' documents to ensure all required qualifications and details are present.
Medical Screening: Candidates who pass the body selection and document checks will proceed to a medical examination. The GIS requires candidates to cover the cost of these medical screenings.
Important Dates and Requirements
The body selection and document assessment will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024.
Candidates should bring original copies of required documents for verification.
