Eleanor was more than just the former wife of Ghana’s current president, Nana Akufo-Addo; she was a pioneering figure in her own right.

Eleanor Akosua Akufo-Addo made history as the first Ashanti Regional Manager of DHL, breaking new ground in a male-dominated field. Her dedication and leadership in this role left an inspiring legacy in Ghana’s corporate world. Born into the Botase Royal Family of Asante Mampong, Eleanor had deep roots in Ghanaian heritage, adding further honor to her family's name.

Additionally, the opening of the Eleanor Akufo-Addo Memorial Social Centre will ensure that her contributions to society continue to be recognized.
