Akuffo Addo's 5 children and what they do
Nov 15, 2024
Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana, is a well-known figure in both political and social spheres.
Behind his leadership, however, is a supportive family, including his five daughters.
These children have grown up in the public eye and have taken on roles in various professional fields.
Here's a look at each of them and their achievements.
Gyankroma Funmi Akufo-Addo
The eldest daughter of President Akufo-Addo, Gyankroma was born in the 1980s. She has a Nigerian heritage from her mother, Remi Fani-Kayode. Gyankroma was educated in the United Kingdom, where she attended La Sainte Union Catholic School.
Currently, Gyankroma Akufo-Addo is the executive secretary for the Creative Arts Agency.
Also, it has been alleged that, she and her other sisters own duty-free shops at the newly built Terminal 3 at Kotoka International Airport.
Adriana Dukua Akufo-Addo
Adriana, like her sister Gyankroma, was born in the UK.
Though little is publicly known about her career, there was speculation about her relationship with Kimathi Rawlings, the son of former President Jerry John Rawlings, though this has been denied.
Yeboakua Akufo-Addo
Yeboakua, another daughter of the president, has kept a low profile.
Her name, meaning "born on a Wednesday" in Akan, is also part of her grandmother's name.
