Kumawood actor Okomfo Kolege has addressed recent rumors suggesting he remarried just two years after the devastating loss of his wife. The speculation arose after photos and videos surfaced online, sparking widespread criticism.

According to Ghana web Speaking during an interview on Kwaku Manu TV, Kolege clarified the source of the misunderstanding. He explained that the circulating images were not from his wedding. Instead, he had stepped in to represent a close friend who was unable to attend his own marriage ceremony. In doing so, Kolege acted as a stand-in groom, which unintentionally led to the false reports.

Kolege expressed deep disappointment over the public's quick judgment and lack of effort to verify the facts. Reflecting on the loss of his wife, he shared how much he struggled to cope with the tragedy and revealed how the negative comments from some Ghanaians have only added to his pain.

He criticized the harsh remarks, stating they reflect a lack of empathy and love. Kolege urged the public to exercise caution and avoid jumping to conclusions, particularly in matters that are sensitive and personal.
