Latest information from Daily Guide Network, reveals the sudden passing of Nana Kwame Asamoah Yeboah-Afari, the Adantamhene of Akwamu and also the founder of the Royal Senchi Hotel and Resort in Senchi-Akwamu.
His death has deeply affected the hospitality and tourism sectors, where he was known for his vision and leadership.
Nana Yeboah-Afari was a member of the Akwamu Traditional Council and served as the Adantamhene of Akwamu. He played a key role in developing the Royal Senchi Hotel and Resort into a world-class destination that showcases Ghana’s culture and promotes sustainable tourism. His efforts earned him recognition both locally and internationally.
He was also the Executive Director of the Royal Senchi Hotel, where he contributed to boosting tourism in the Eastern Region. His work created jobs and supported economic growth, leaving a lasting legacy in the hospitality industry.
Tributes have poured in from various groups, including Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, Akwamuhene, and the Akwamuman. The Yeboah-Afari families of Berekum and Dormaa, as well as his maternal family from Techimantia, have also expressed their grief.
According to report, the Traditional funeral rites to honor his memory will begin with on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Royal Senchi Hotel and Resort. A 40-day traditional observance will follow on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Bogyawe Palace in Akwamufie.
