Man Utd become first Premier League club to offer free sanitary products for men
Nov 25, 2024

Manchester United have signed up to become the first Premier League club to offer free sanitary bins and products for men at Old Trafford.

Manchester United will become the first Premier League club to offer male sanitary facilities. The Red Devils' initiative includes providing designated bins and essential products such as pads.
The decision comes after a fresh study from Prostate Cancer UK and phs Group revealed last week that half the individuals suffering from male bladder weakness are attending fewer football matches due to inadequate facilities and fears of leaks.
The survey exposed that 14 per cent have given up going to games entirely.
Now recognised as the pioneering Gold BOG STANDARD club - a mark setting the bar for the support Prostate Cancer UK and phs Group demand organisations to offer men struggling with incontinence - United are leading the charge.
With one in eight men facing prostate cancer, UI remains a prevalent side-effect after prostate cancer treatment, affecting as many as two-thirds (65 per cent) post-treatment in various degrees of permanency.
Prostate Cancer UK's head of support services, Nick Ridgman, commended Man United's dedication: "Manchester United’s commitment to supporting men with incontinence is a fantastic step forward and we hope their action will inspire change across the whole football community, from the top of the Premier League to local non-league games.
