Omuteche, a known academician, had disappeared on Saturday after visiting his farm near the Jordan River, sparking a three-day search.
Citizen Digital reports that the tragic discovery was confirmed on Monday, November 25, by Ebulonga chief Evans Ouya, who had been coordinating efforts to locate the don.
According to Chief Ouya, Omuteche had set out to prepare his cowshed and collect sticks from his farm, which borders the river. When he failed to return home, his family raised the alarm.
