Ernest Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, the Corporate Communication Specialist and Head of Corporate Communications at Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC), has set the record straight regarding his relationship with Hopeson Adorye, a former member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Contrary to public perception, he revealed that the two were never friends, despite their past collaboration within the party.

In a recent statement, Owusu-Bempah made it clear that his interaction with Adorye was purely professional and tied to their shared political efforts within the NPP.

> “Hopeson Adorye has never been my friend. He has never been my friend, and he was not my friend. We were just fighting a course for our political party, which was the NPP. End of story. He has decided to go his way and support Afranfranto. He has never been my friend,” Owusu-Bempah emphasized.

This clarification comes amid ongoing speculations about their relationship, especially following Adorye's recent shift in political allegiance.

Owusu-Bempah also touched on recent developments involving former Trade Minister Alan Kyerematen, who has been at the center of political discourse following his remarks about former President John Agyekum Kufuor. He attributed Kyerematen's statements to emotions and bitterness but maintained optimism about his eventual return to the NPP.
