Timelines of Dampare’s Career

1990: Dampare Joins the Ghana Police Service
At the age of 20, George Akuffo Dampare joined the Ghana Police Service in December 1990.
He was recruited as a Police Constable. It didn’t take long for his exceptional skills to shine through.
Just one year later, in 1991, he was named the overall Best Recruit at the National Police Training School.
He won almost every award except the 'Best Marksman' award, showing that even in his early days, he was a force to be reckoned with.
1996: Best Cadet at the Ghana Police Academy
Dampare’s hard work continued to pay off in 1996 when he completed the 32nd Cadet Officers' Course at the Ghana Police Academy.
