Dec 11, 2024
Ghanaian attacker, Zubairu Ibrahim, has made a generous donation to the Kumasi Central Mosque Islamic School as part of his efforts to give back to society.
The donation is a demonstration of his unwavering commitment to uplifting his community and remembering his alma mater.
In his latest philanthropic act, the Kumasi-born player donated books, a gesture that reinforces his dedication to education and development.
The donation, made on Zubairu’s behalf by his brother, Iddrisu Pempem, and friends, reflects the Serbian-based footballer’s consistent efforts to give back.
The headmaster of the school expressed profound gratitude for the gesture, highlighting Zubairu’s ongoing support over the years.
“On behalf of the school, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Zubairu for his kind gesture. This is not the first time he has shown his support for our institution. He previously donated a set of jerseys to us, and now he has surprised us with these books. It's clear that he values education just as much as he does sports. We pray that God continues to bless him and elevate him in his career," he said.
Zubairu’s philanthropic endeavours extend beyond his basic school. He has previously made significant contributions to his juvenile club, Barcelona FC, and his senior high school, Sakafiya Islamic School, solidifying his reputation as a community-minded athlete.
